Piktochart contributed a sum of funds to support 12 classroom projects in need. On top of that, they provided coupons for their Pro Plan to be redeemed by donors and teachers on the platform. Their office also hosted the film screening of ‘Most Likely To Succeed (MLTS)’ in Penang, bringing together the community to discuss what excellent education can be for our children.
Repsol Malaysia adopted an existing classroom project on our platform, which was to makeover a computer lab and create a conducive space for learning for a school of 900 students in Selangor. Their team worked together to paint an inspirational mural on the lab walls so that students feel more inspired to learn. Besides that, they also replaced several old PCs and got their IT department to spend the day providing maintenance support to the computers in the lab.
VOPAK brought our Teacher Workshop and Champions Arise Programme to a group of teachers and students from their adopted school in Pengerang, Johor. The programme was aimed to improve the level of spoken English amongst students through modules that also promote career and life skills. Their team participated as facilitators in the programme and also took part in various activities, such as role-playing and sharing of their job experiences with the students.
